New rides and new dates refresh Wilsons West London run

Wilsons were back in West London in August with a rescheduled mini tour of some of their annual locations they visit.

Desmond FitzGerald’s account is on page 8.

Gerry Cottle wows the crowds

Gerry Cottle’s brand new WOW Circus opened its tour at Southsea Common, where it last appeared in 2013. It is presented in a 32 metre round and 12 metre high dome Big Top, with transport previously used on the Extreme Stunt Show. The show has brand new theatre style individual seating, which goes right down to the ring, with no ring fence. There is a circular stage for the main performance and a trailer stage, which makes for easier presentation and transportation of the show’s large scale illusions.

Andy Payne’s review is on page 24.

Weather on side for Netley Marsh

Despite hot weather and a slow moving motorway, a good number of people made their way to the 45th Anniversary Netley Marsh Steam & Craft Show.

Peter Hammond’s report is on page 29.
