One of the outstanding carnivals in the area is the one held in the pleasant little town of Market Harborough in mid June. The townsfolk here are experienced and very good at putting on community event.

David Springthorpe’s account is on page 8.

48th East Coast Run

pres

Under darkening skies and persistent rain, over three hundred vehicles of two, four and multiple axles gathered for an early morning viewing in East Park, Kingston upon Hull, in readiness for the 30 mile leisurely drive from the city to Sewerby Fields, a cliff top location with stunning views over Bridlington’s North Bay. Despite the weather the hardy enthusiasts of Hull descended on the city’s premier events park to marvel at the cavalcade of vehicles spanning many decades.

Stephen Lilly’s report is on page 29.
