Anniversary and a change for Lincoln Fair


It’s 75 years since the last fairground load left the Cattle Market in Monks Road, Lincoln, never to return. Since then, the home of the city’s time honoured April Pleasure Fair has become firmly established on the South Common.

Moscow State Circus Zhelaniy theatre tour 


After a busy Christmas season in Holland from December 19 until January 3, the Moscow State Circus returned to Scotland with a 10 day stand at Intu Braehead in Glasgow before starting its theatre tour at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on January 28.

Scammells make show spectacular


The Scammell Spectacular held over the weekend of April 23 - 24 under the shadows of the water tower at Brickyard Farm in Pontefract, has slowly morphed from a truck show into a historic vehicle show - although trucks of all sizes and marques still form the nucleus of this curtain raiser to the Yorkshire preservation season.
